Build up of my 1980's Schwinn World Custom into a lighter sleeker bicycle. Here is a before shot of the bike.


Current weight: 30 lbs.

Bontrager handlebar tape added and a new seat. I added these so I could ride it comfortably for the time being. I also removed the brake handle extenders.

• Wheels and tires
• Spread frame to fit 9 speed cassette wheels
• Black powder coat
• New brake handles
